In 1980, the business name was changed to that of the present-day Soft Italia S.p.A. Today, under the guidance of the same family, Soft Italia is a leader in the design and production of saddles and saddle bags for motorcycles, and in seating for furnishing and for public and private transport.

More than 30 years of experience have prompted the firm to undergo a constant search for new solutions and new materials, leading to the creation and construction of products that are always at the forefront of modernity from both the technical and the aesthetic point of view.

The firm operates at two sites, the first being the headquarters, situated at Fornacette, where seating, saddles and cushions are made, and the second, at Ponsacco, where travel goods are produced. We work over a total surface area of approximately 12,000 square metres, and employ around fifty people, which goes up to a hundred at seasonal peak periods.
